Sansui 1000A Tube Stereo Receiver Fully Functional - Should Be Restored

This listing is for 1 Sansui 1000A Tube Stereo Receiver. It powers up and is fully functional
and sounds good
, however it really should be restored. This is one of my own 1000A receivers that I bought 15+ years ago. It has been bagged, boxed and stored in a smoke free - climate controlled environment for this whole time. This unit is basically stock. In fact it comes with a full complement of NEC and Matsushita preamp tubes. Including a pair of Matsushita 12AX7 tubes. I tested the 12AX7 tubes and they’re in good shape. I didn’t test the rest, but as stated it powers up and
is fully functional and sounds good
. I powered it up slowly with a variac transformer to 115 volts and tested all functions including phono for magnetic cartrage and tape loop. The output tubes are a New Matched Quad set of EH 7591A Tubes. Interesting enough this unit has the original wiring schematic on the inside of the top cover. This was a first for me. Things to note are that the pots (knobs) are not scratchy. A little shh with some, but not bad. Also the transformers really look good on this one. This unit shows NO sign of a bad bios meltdown. Please check the images for cosmetics. This unit has some scuffs and the cover has some dings, but overall it’s in pretty good shape.
