    "Klemperer SACD Reprint Series I"
"DEFINITION SERIES" has reached its 20th anniversary this time. Four years have passed since the first release in March 2015, and the total number of titles is 37. We have reprinted various sound sources centering on the masterpiece of the old EMI label that was buried, but the EMI label is still full of influential items. Therefore, in commemoration of the arrival of the 20th bullet, we decided to systematically release a part of Klemperer's sound source from this time. In addition, a new commentary by a leading expert in the current interpretation of Klemperer will be posted, and the "Klemperer Chronology" (common) will be reprinted with the attached specifications.
Klemperer has collected all 14 Mozart symphonies recorded on the old EMI label from 1956 to 1964, and 5 new and old recordings of "Eine Kleine Nachtmusik". Previously, 6 symphonies were already converted to SACD on the market, but this time, of the 3 songs of 38-40, which are 2 types, the old version of 38,39 recorded in 1981 and the old version recorded in 1987. The 40th, 25th, 29th, 31st, 33rd, 34th and 3 orchestral songs are the world's first CDs. The Mozart sound source, which can be said to be the essence of Klemperer, has been revived with the latest high-quality sound. Comes with a serial number limited to 1,000 sets. For this reprint, we used a master digitized at 96kHz /24bit from the original master in our home country, and newly mastered the SACD layer and the CD layer separately. For this reprint, we used a master digitized at 96kHz /24bit from the original master in our home country, and newly mastered the SACD layer and the CD layer separately. At that time, after verifying the comparison with the sound sources released in the past as much as possible, in order to make the best use of the music, I tried to perform the optimum mastering while respecting the original analog master tape. The mastering engineer is Mr. Atsushi Fujita, who has been in charge of authoring this series.
There are a total of 16 symphonies on the EMI label, including monaural recordings, including re-recordings since No. 25, but for this release, we have selected 14 songs left in stereo and some orchestral songs. In addition, it was No. 41 that the famous EMI producer Walter Legge (1906-79) made a recording contract with Clemperer in contact with the demonstration (the first recording was also No. 41 recorded in October 1954). ). This time it is not included because it is a collection of stereo recordings, but it was Mozart that triggered the production of many sound sources that will remain in the history of Clemperer after that (the last session recording of Clemperer's life was also recorded in 1971 9). Monthly Serenade No. 11). Originally, Klemperer loved Mozart, and you can hear his insistence on the remaining sound source. Please fully enjoy Klemperer's Mozart with high sound quality, such as "God dwells in the details".
In this series, the SACD layer aims for a high resolution and rich sound field with a long high range and soft nuances, and the CD layer aims for a realistic tone that is extruded with a cohesive and solid sound. The potential of the CD itself is high, and you can enjoy it as a SACD hybrid disc where you can enjoy the goodness of both. The 20th Definition Series will release a total of 2 titles.
