    Description

Langevin Homebuilt seemingly modeled after a Langevin Type 101-3101 Series Amp.
In the paper folder on this amp, it has pictures of a Langevin Type 101-3101 Series that it appears this amp may have been modeled after.
The schematic for the 101-3101 Langevin does show the same basic tube complement as well as it's use of the 316-A output transformer.
Langevin - Cook is what is denoted on the file as apparently there is also a copy related to an interview with E. Cook.
The amplifier is alive and well. The third picture shows the extra 316A Output transformer and 100A Power Transformer that is included in case a person would like to build a matching amplifier.
In the folder is some history on the amp. The story of it's beginnings indicate that it was built by a CBS Audio Engineer Al Ashus. He called it the "Ultimate Amp" and probably surpassed everything else at the time. It is professed that only two were built; one for him and one for Auther Godfrey. There is other literature about Langevin amps and components in the file folder that will be included with the sale.
Due to potential buyer issues, they are being sold as-is and returns are not accepted.
My goal in packing is the have the unit to arrive to you in the condition it was sent. I will wrap the unit in plastic sheeting, then double box it . I hope these units find a very good home. Yes it is large and heavy so postage will cost. Please allow me up to one week after payment to ship -Thanks.
NOTE: The shipping shown is just for the Amplifier. The additional Transformers will require a separate shipment that I will have to add additional shipping for. Please do not pay invoice until I have added the shipping for the second box.
