    Description

    Uncommon Heathkit Model AP-1800 Preamp. Overall, the preamp is a nice original unit. It works and sounds great but appears to have original components. I tested all of the inputs and they work fine.  I acquired it from the estate of a long-time audiophile. The faceplate looks very good as you can see in the images. The cabinet is very solid but has some blackish substance on the top as shown in the images. I am sure someone with basic woodworking skills can shape it up in fairly short order. Buyer may elect to do a rebuild for even better sound and increased reliability. It willl make someone a very nice unit to use and add to the collection. Buyer pays shipping in CONUS.
